National Convenience Week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate essential convenience store workers and raise funds for local charity.
In 2020, National Convenience Week adapted to public safety recommendations and guidelines by executing a primarily virtual event, with support from community leaders in the form of video and online messages. The event raised $75,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada.
In 2019, $180,000 was raised for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada Provincial Chapters.
From coast to coast, Canadian convenience stores celebrated their industry, welcomed community leaders to their stores and raised much-needed funds for charity.
